In the midst of a solemn welcoming, the procession of his beatitude Patriarch Fouad Twal, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, arrived to the village of Zababdeh that lies on the south of the city Jenin, where his beatitude inaugurated the Latin Church of Visitation, and presided a celebrating mass over there. |

ترأس البطريرك فؤاد طوال، بطريرك القدس للاتين، قدّاساً احتفالياً في كنيسة مار يعقوب للاتين في بيت حنينا، يوم الأحد، التاسع من تشرين الثاني 2008، بمناسبة اليوبيل الفضي والذهبي ولمن تقدّموا لسرّ الزواج المقدّس العام الحالي. ففي نهاية القداس قام غبطته وكاهن الرعية الأب ابراهيم فلتس، بتوزيع الشهادات ل (40) زوجا وزوجة، ومن ثم منح غبطته البركة للحضور، وتقبّل بعدها التهاني في قاعة الكنيسة مع كاهن الرعية والآباء الأجلاء والمحتفلين باليوبيل. |

The recent Synod
The recent Synod -held in Rome between the 6th and 25th of October- was the 12th General Ordinary Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, and was dedicated to the "Word of God in the life and Mission of the Church".The Synod of Bishops is an assembly of the representatives of the Catholic Bishops with the Pontiff, for the exchange of information, to come out with suitable recommendations for finding pastoral solutions, helping the Universal Church. |
