This web site is edited by the Assembly of the Catholic Ordinaries in the Holy Land. The Assembly gathers the bishops and other ecclesial personnel who have jurisdiction over the Holy Land. Pope John Paul II approved the Statutes of the Assembly on January 27, 1992
The Assembly wants to coordinate the witness of the Gospel and the service of the community, to study common problems, to encourage exchanges of information and experience, and to create common pastoral programs.
