Caritas Jerusalem is a humanitarian and development organization representing the social-pastoral services of the Catholic Church in the Holy Land. Founded in 1967 to respond to the humanitarian emergency emerged after the Six-day War, Caritas Jerusalem has grown to assume increasing responsibilities in running programs and projects. Caritas Jerusalem is a member of Caritas Internationalis, a confederation of 162 organizations operating in more than 200 countries and territories.
